Founder Bio – Shannon Weese

Shannon Weese is the founder of Weese HR, bringing over a decade of real-world experience across operations, workforce management, and practical human resources.

His career has never followed the traditional HR path — and that’s exactly why his approach works. Shannon built his HR knowledge where it actually matters: on the ground, in the field, inside busy transport yards, and in the middle of real-time staffing, scheduling, and employee–management conflict.

Shannon began his HR journey within the Government of Canada, supporting a Director General at Public Works. That early role introduced him to structured HR governance, compliance standards, documentation systems, and the strategic side of workforce administration. While the cubicle environment wasn’t the long-term fit, the experience shaped the disciplined, detail-driven foundation that now anchors his HR practice.

Over the years, Shannon strengthened his capabilities in:

  • HR policy creation and clear documentation

  • Employee onboarding, workflow design, and orientation systems

  • Job-posting development and recruitment communication

  • Fair, structured conflict navigation between employees and management

  • Safety awareness, operational compliance, and accountability frameworks

  • Supporting small businesses that don’t have in-house HR resources

Coming from heavy equipment, transportation, and field-based operations, Shannon brings something most HR consultants simply don’t have:

a frontline understanding of how policies, pay structures, and procedures actually play out in the real world.

He’s seen what happens when companies cut corners, when communication breaks down, and when employees feel unheard — and he’s lived the consequences from both sides. That experience is exactly why he created Weese HR: to provide employers with honest, transparent, compliant HR systems without the inflated corporate jargon or overpriced consulting fees.

Shannon believes that HR should support both the employer and the employee with clarity and fairness. His philosophy is straightforward:

no confusion, no hidden agendas, no convoluted policies — just practical HR that works.
